Overview

The October 7, 2023 attacks killed roughly 1,400 people, took 250+ hostages, and displaced 200,000 people from Israel's south and north, devastating an agricultural heartland that relied on tens of thousands of farm workers. Shai Fund responded by evacuating 361 people from danger, delivering humanitarian aid to more than 36,000 individuals, and launching Crisis First Aid training for civilians in conflict-prone border communities.
