As the crisis in Syria continues to escalate, we’ve had the privilege of stepping into the gap for vulnerable communities, providing critical relief to displaced Yezidi families. These families, forced from their homes by violence from Islamist Turkish-backed militias, are fighting to survive in dire winter conditions.
Thanks the support of our generous donors, 41 families—208 individuals—received essential aid to help them endure these challenging times.
Here’s how that generosity made a difference:
The Yezidi community has faced unimaginable persecution—first at the hands of ISIS, and now from Turkish-backed militias seeking to control formerly Assad-held territories. These militias have targeted religious minorities, including Yezidis, Christians, and others, forcing families to flee into displacement camps and unfinished homes.
